Everyone has the right to support that helps them be included as full and valued citizens within the community. Self-Directed Support (SDS) is the name for those supports. The SDS Network is the global network dedicated to improving awareness of best-practice in self-directed support and inclusion.
The founding governance for the SDS Network reflects the ongoing commitment of many individuals and organisations to create the network and the need to reflect the global growth of SDS in a balanced way.
It is free to join the network and many different countries are represented. The Network is actively supported by the Finnish organisation Tukena and the 3 co-chairs who represent different sections of the world:
