Australia is on the verge of one of the most important international initiatives in promoting the rights of people with disabilities. There is much to gain, but also much to lose.

This report explains why the initial design thinking behind NDIS is deeply flawed. It suggests that there is time for the designers and political leaders to rethink and create a more creative, sustainable and empowering approach.
