People live their lives in organisations of one form or another. Where there is love, trust and understanding then these organisations promote the human good. Where there is fear, control and confusion then great harm is done.

Examining data on the rate of Delayed Discharge within the NHS provides an illustration of the folly of NHS cuts and reorganisation over the last decade. Less control and fewer targets would help the NHS return to being one of the most efficient and effective systems of healthcare in the world.
