The cuts in public spending planned by the current UK government for 2015.
The UK government has begun a programme of unprecedented cuts to public expenditure. The largest cuts target the poor, disabled people, local government and further education. The largest growth is in the NHS, pensions, foreign aid and central government. The decision to make these cuts in this way seems largely to be driven by considerations of electoral advantage.
