This is a report from the South West Employment Institute (SWEI) on Practical Funding Guidance for Young People seeking employment.
Authors: Avril Mendel and Carol Robinson
People with learning disabilities can and want to achieve satisfying careers. There is now much anecdotal evidence of individuals in full time paid work. Yet people with learning disabilities remain furthest from the UK labour market.
This report written on behalf of the South West Employment Institute (SWEI) sets out some of the ways that paid employment, and the steps to employment, might be funded.
