In this film Nadia Clarke explains how important human rights are to all disabled people. She describes how she was lucky to have parents who believed in her and supported her to understand her rights.
Nadia has benefited from a mainstream education and direct payments to control her own support. However her budget is also threatened by cuts to social care and she worries that too many disabled people are being forced into care homes.
