Cash Not Care exposes the barbarity of the welfare cuts and austerity

Mo Stewart is a former healthcare professional, a disabled female veteran and an independent researcher. This book is the result of six years of self-funded research.

Cash Not Care exposes the influence of corporate America and its influence from 1992, on the welfare reforms in the UK. The Impact of these austerity measures has negatively affected the welfare and the survival of the chronically sick and disabled population, making it harder to claim benefits for all those who are unfit to work.

This book and the author's research have informed many debates on welfare in the House of Lords and House of Commons since 2011. Also, they contributed to the evidence used by the United Nations to investigate the UK government for breaches of human rights of sick and disabled people.

This book helped identify the adoption of lethal social policies copied from American social security policies. These policies are linked to the death of thousands of the most vulnerable.

Cash Not Care showcases how the UK’s welfare state was systematically demolished and planned meticulously by a previous Conservative government.
