I have previously worked with Citizen Network on comparing and analysing electoral systems. I compared the democratic suitability of around 90 countries’ systems. I wrote a report which analysed my findings and created a map which showed a scale of how democratic such countries were.
I am currently working with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority. I’ve worked on policy areas such as the everyday economy and economic resilience. I have worked in the Procurement, Digital and Economy teams. I’m interested in working on policy initiatives and have been influenced by my time working with Citizen Network.
I strongly believe in the value of community support and the principle of citizenship. I volunteer as a junior football coach and can see the value that being part of a community setup can bring to providing purpose, support, belonging and identity.
