WiltsCIL Evaluation of Direct Payment Workshops

One Year's Experience to January 2014

This report describes the experience of Wiltshire Centre for Independent Living in using peer support to help people who are new to direct payments.

WiltsCil has found that: 

"The workshops have been an effective way of providing support to new direct payment users in a new learning environment not primarily dependent on professionals. The value of peer support in Social Care is shown in this project."
