Professor Steven Newman is MD of BioDiversity International Ltd. The company is involved with investments in agroforestry worldwide leading to the planting of millions of trees as part of equitable social development projects. He is currently Visiting Professor (Agroforestry) in the School of Agriculture at Reading University University.
Steven has directed, managed and planned over 100 natural resources and social justice projects over a 40-year period He has 44 years relevant experience in biodiversity and climate sector, within government, research institutions or international development organisations and he has undertaken over 150 major assignments with internationally funded programmes in over sixty-three countries.
