Patti is the Founder and CEO of Neighbours, Inc and Neighbours International, two non-profit organizations. Neighbours, Inc works for people with the label of disabilities to live a full life rich in relationships, community, purpose and contribution in their neighborhood. We work for each person individually. Neighbours International provides education, facilitation and consulting world wide.
Patti's recent focus includes developing Pathfinding Outfitters (an online intergenerational collaboration); facilitating ongoing workshops and educational experiences on Individualized Supports in Croatia, Republic of Georgia and Romania; discovering and sharing gifts in neighborhoods in NJ and other communities around the US and Canada; working on a project in Indiana to uncover people's gifts, contributions and joy, and record their stories.
Patti is the author of several publications, and a creator of various videos, relating to issues of self-direction, inclusion, community, the story of Neighbours, and discovering and sharing gifts in community.
Patti is married to Dave Hasbury, who she works with and is an aunt to four wonderful nieces and a nephew; and a grandmother to four beautiful grandchildren.
