The Strindberg Laboratory creates community-based theater with persons from diverse backgrounds. Our original theatrical productions and workshops are developed and performed by people from around the world and from all walks of life, and they build bridges between communities that are normally separated.
We believe diversity is the key ingredient to creating truly unique and transformational theater at the highest level.
Our programs and productions address and reflect the needs of the communities we serve, and we believe that the more diverse our participants and audiences are, the more positive transformational change will occur. We believe theater must never be static, must constantly evolve, and must welcome all persons regardless of prior theatrical experience or backgrounds.

In the future we would like to continue developing theater using multiple theatrical techniques with populations from diverse backgrounds. We want to create an opportunity for people to come together through art and culture.
We are excited to be part of the cooperative in the hopes that we connect organizations and people who are working to bring equality and culture to all those that seek it.
