Congratulations to People Focused Group (PFG) Doncaster who are celebrating after winning ‘Third Sector Organisation of the Year’, and the ‘Success through Partnerships’ award at the Doncaster Business Awards.

Each year, organisations of all sizes and from all sectors across Doncaster compete for coveted awards in twelve categories. This year the event was sponsored by Doncaster College and University Centre and businesses across Doncaster were recognised for their innovation, success and spirit at the award ceremony on Thursday 12 December.

Dan Fell, CEO of Doncaster Chamber, said:

“We’re continually in awe of the great work that’s happening across the borough, highlighting our community’s endless determination, entrepreneurial spirit, enterprise, innovation and creativity. It’s encouraging to see so many local businesses flourish in spite of the ongoing economic and political turmoil; our awards recognise that drive and resilience and toast all the success stories.”

Kelly Hicks, the founder of PFG, won the Social Worker of the Year award in 2011. She was interviewed recently about setting up PFG and the work they do in their local community, read the interview at:
