Global Ambassador Invited to New York

Can you help Fionn get to New York and deliver his speech on the theme of self-directed support?

Action | 25.02.25

Fionn Crombie Angus, Citizen Network’s Global Ambassador, has been selected to speak at the United Nations in New York City on 21st March for World Down Syndrome Day.

Fionn was the first person with a learning disability to be awarded a personal budget in Ireland as a pilot project of the Department of Health. And, Fionn, along with his father Jonathan, helps organise the Self-Directed Support Network Ireland.

Unfortunately, the organisers of the event are unable to cover any expenses so Jonathan Angus has set up a GoFundMe page.

Can you help Fionn get to New York and deliver his speech on the theme of self-directed support?
