Women at the Centre

The Centre worked with WomenCentre, a powerful and innovative organisation based in Calderdale and Kirklees. 

The primary outcomes of the project were:

• The publication of the book Women at the Centre
• Demonstration of the cost-effectiveness of WomenCentre
• Development of a model to explain how WomenCentre works
• Proposals for better central and local policy to support social justice for families
• Proposals for commissioning that better supported local community innovation

This work was carried out with the support of the Yorkshire & Humber Regional Improvement and Efficiency Programme.
