Quip - a library

Quip work throughout the Czech Republic and internationally and have worked on many European projects.

Quip is an acronym for Quality in Practice, which is the name of a successful European project that focused on the introduction of quality standards in supported employment. Founders of Quip Milena Johnová, Pavla Baxová, Táňa Kašlíková cared very much that the concept of quality, which was becoming very popular in social services, was put into practice – not remaining on paper only.

Quip believe that every person is a citizen and every citizen needs to be treated as a human being, and every person has the right to choose where, how and with whom he or she will live.

Quip have a library of interesting resources, translated into English on:

• Community Living and Deinstitutionalisation
• Person-centred planning
• Hear our voices! – a European project focusing on the participation of children with intellectual disabilities in their communities
