We use positive psychology and evidence-based leadership practices to help clients: unlock leadership potential cultivate empathetic, high-trust workplaces spark creativity and innovation navigate change and setbacks embed entrepreneurial values and purpose We achieve this by offering 1-1 mentoring and also team based bespoke programs combining guided reflection, applied tools, and structured leadership development.

For the last 9 years I was an Executive Director at Pogo Digital Healthcare, a company I co-founded which provided digital health products for the NHS and private health providers. Between 2011 -2016, I was a Non-Executive-Director for 5 software and digital companies. In 1996 I co-founded, and served as CEO for 10 years, one of Scotland’s most successful software companies, working with global brands and public sector organisations.
From 2019 - 2024 I was a Trustee and then Vice Chair at Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland. And, I was a Trustee and then Chair at Sporting Memories Scotland. I have also been a golf caddie which helped me to recover from a stroke I had at the age of 41.
As well as The Leadership Book, I am also the author of 5 other books which shapes the work which The Leadership Edge Partnership offers. My books consistently focus on themes related to leadership, personal development, positive psychology, creativity, and entrepreneurship. My works explore foundational topics such as acceptance, purpose, mindset, optimism, strengths, choices, gratitude, negativity, failure, resilience, values, imagination, creativity, identity, and emotions.
