Y.O.U has been established since 2015 and has broadened the services we offer. All services fall under the wider umbrella of advocating for the rights of disabled people and changing the narrative for this group. Services include advocacy, person-centred planning support, education and training, consultancy and self-directed support advice.

In relation to the consultancy work Y.O.U offers the organisation was awarded the award for outstanding contribution as part of our lead lived experience coordinator role with the Scottish Union of Supported Employment (Suse). Y.O.U fulfilled this role for three years until funding ceased earlier this year. Up until then, within this role Y.O.U worked costly with a range of employers conducting on site visits, education and training and policy reviews seeking to be fully inclusive. We also provide training on a regular basis to support providers and Universities. Training covers a wide range of topics including the human rights of disabled people, disability awareness and person centred planning. This is not an exhaustive list and there is also a bespoke option where Y.O.U will work to a brief to meet an organisations specific training needs.

Currently, one of Y.O.U's main roles is around providing person-centred planning support for disabled people and enabling them to dream big and remove the barriers that disability often brings. Until recently Y.O.U provided regular person-centred planning support for young people applying to the ILF. We also provide this support through our dream, plan, live programme.
