I am a musician and a community organiser. My aim is to seed community - to help people to connect, overcome barriers of division, and start helping each other out - as quickly as possible.

To do so, I act in many different ways.

I am a coordinator for a UK-wide collective impact network called CTRL Shift (https://ctrlshift.org.uk/) which aims to shift power from where it is concentrated in central governments, corporations and elites, to where it belongs, in communities and local governments.

I have been part of organisations which use Sociocracy as a governance system for the past few years, and am being trained to become a facilitator. Sociocracy aims to distribute power evenly when policy decisions are made, and enable wise decision making through the team's collective intelligence.

I am co-director of SONEC (https://sonec.org.uk/), an organisation which is spreading the Indian Neighbourhood Parliaments model of street level organising to worldwide, particularly in the UK. We aim to work at the neighbourhood, town, city and national level to enable this.

Finally, I am a singer, and lead music and expression circles (@arcoiara). I help people, even those with no prior experience, to connect with themselves and each other, and co-create the music they need for that moment, and to encourage people to express themselves in a non performative spaces.
