I am a researcher and activist in democracy and politics with two decades of experience. I have co-founded several campaign groups and worked within and around political parties. My work with the Neighbourhood Democracy Movement seeks to encourage a neighbourly approach to spreading ideas and action for hyper-local democracy.
My research interests include independent local parties, green political theory, democracy in local government, and the role of parish and town councils in democracy. I have published papers on research methodology and am currently developing publications from my thesis.
