We provide a platform for research and action to transform the world. We have a global network of Fellows who are social innovators, campaigners and independent researchers.
We have an international audience but have strong roots in Sheffield and the North of England. Founded in 2009 as the Centre for Welfare Reform we became Citizen Network Research in 2021.
Our achievements include:
We are working to create a sustainable platform for independent research and policy action within the framework of Citizen Network Coop. Our goal is to help bring together our network of expertise and grassroots action into a powerful agent of social change to help tackle the profound economic, ecological and social challenges ahead of us. All of this work will build on our commitment to equal citizenship for all and our Keys to Citizenship model.
The world will only change in the way we need it to change if we work together. Cooperation and behaving like a citizen, not selfishness or consumerism, is the key to creating the world we all need if everyone is going to be able to flourish. We are proud to be one of the co-founders of Citizen Network and excited to see what new energy and innovation we can create together.
