Cooperative for Welfare Reform
The Co-operative for Welfare Reform is a co-op of practitioners and agencies established in order to provide practical support to achieve a world where everyone matters.
The Cooperative’s aim is to work with a whole range of organisations, including support providers, voluntary and community sector organisations; clinical commissioning groups; local authorities and others who aspire to make radical change for the benefit of citizens.
The collective knowledge, skills and experience of the Cooperative’s members mean that we are able to provide practical advice and support on a whole range of issues. For example:
- Implementing the use of Individual Service Funds
- Asset Based Community Development
- Training on person centred support planning
- Training on independent support brokerage
- Developing neighbourhood democracy
We are also able to offer independent evaluations, project and programme management and access to all the resources and networks of the Centre for Welfare Reform, one of the founders of Citizen Network.
